Hydrated Lime Powder - Calcium Hydroxide
This powder is used to increase the pH of your substrates during pasteurisation. Only 1g is needed for every litre of water. Not to worry if more than 1g is added - this will not affect the process as it will simply not dissolve and remain as sediment in the water.
Please use in a well-ventilated environment and wear gloves, a mask and goggles or glasses when handling as hydrated lime powder is corrosive to the skin.
